Amanda Swanson: Partner and Portfolio Manager
Mrs Swanson co-founded Euronova Asset Management in 2000. She is a Portfolio Manager of the Euronova Smaller Companies Fund and Research Analyst with primary responsibility for Scandinavia, Ireland and Holland. Between 1994 and 2000 she worked for Kempen Capital Management Ltd, Edinburgh as co-Portfolio Manager of the European equity mid and small cap ‘Orange’ fund. Prior to 1994, Mrs Swanson worked for Walter Scott & Partners, Edinburgh, N Dunn and Co, Edinburgh and Morgan Stanley International in various Investment Management roles. She started her career with Ivory and Sime plc, as co-Portfolio Manager of a European mid-cap equity closed-end fund.
David Houston: Partner & Portfolio Manager
David Houston co-founded Euronova Asset Management in 2000. He departed in 2003 and returned in 2009. He is the Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for the long only funds. Between 2003 and 2009 he was the Investment Director responsible for the Berenberg European smallcap team. Prior to his first term at Euronova, he was Chief Investment Officer at Kempen Capital Management Ltd, Edinburgh as co-Portfolio Manager of the European equity mid and small cap 'Orange' fund. During his 25 years of experience, he has also held positions managing portfolios of European equities at GAM, Scottish Amicable and Ivory and Sime plc.
